Bookings
This site sells nothing. You book on GetYourGuide, and your contract is with GetYourGuide and the operator. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.
How we choose the tours
We start from the 70 glacier hiking, ice climbing and ice cave tours we listed for Iceland on GetYourGuide, then keep the ones that truly walk on a glacier and differ in a way that matters to you: the glacier, the length, the group, the price. Nobody pays us to include a tour or to rank it higher.
How we check
Prices and ratings are read from GetYourGuide, and the day of the last check is shown under “Compare in detail”. They change with the date, and the price you pay is the one GetYourGuide shows you. When a tour disappears, we take it off the site. Every fact is listed with its source and the day we read it on Sources and method.
Your safety
Conditions on a glacier change from day to day. This site is no substitute for your guide's instructions, or for Safetravel and the Icelandic Meteorological Office before you travel.
How the site earns money
We earn a commission if you book through our links, at no extra cost to you. Ratings are GetYourGuide's, shown with their number of reviews. We do not publish reviews of our own.
